Bulls Game

On March 6th, Dakota's basketball coach took his team to see the Chicago Bulls play the Milwaukee Bucks. Coach Brown paid for all the boys tickets along with parents and we headed to Chicago to watch our beloved Bulls play live and in person! The boys and us parents had the best time. I know I enjoyed myself so much as did Joel. Oh, Jordan got to go too!

We arrived early enough for the boys to line up where the players come on the court to get autographs. Kota got his warm up shirt and ticket signed by Joakim Noah. See the pics below of him signing his shirt. We watched the players warm up on the court and the boys had a ball. Our seats weren't too bad. At half time they put the name of the boys basketball team up on the Jumbo Tron. One of the parents bought each of the boys a basketball which was above and beyond what we expected. The team Kota plays for is called The Heat and it's a travel basketball team with 8 boys on it. They play tournaments and regular season games at a local YMCA. He has been on this team for two years now and we couldn't ask for a better coach than Coach Brown! He's awesome with the boys and very generous with his time and teaching the boys the fundamentals of the game. He has coached Kota in basketball, baseball and soccer and he learns so much from him. Plus Coach Brown's son happens to be Kota's best friend. We are grateful for the Brown Family! Thanks to my friend, Jean, for the pictures she took since I forgot my camera!
